Refrain from reverse-engineering, modifying, or distributing the App without our written permission.
Ensure that any data you provide to us (e.g., age, weight, or food habits) is accurate.
User Eligibility
To use the App, you must be at least 13 years old.
If you are under 18, you confirm that you have received permission from a parent or legal guardian.
User Accounts and Security
To access certain features, you may need to create an account using third-party authentication (Google, Facebook, AppleID).
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and any activities under your account.

Acceptable Use Policy

Collected Data: Personal details (age, weight, height, food habits), Bluetooth connections, and camera data for food recognition purposes.
Storage: Data is stored securely in MongoDB, and transfers are encrypted using JSON Web Tokens (JWT).

Property Rights
All rights, title, and interest in the App (including but not limited to software, logos, and trademarks) belong to Coti or its licensors.
You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute the App’s content without prior written consent from Coti.

Firebase (authentication, security).
Google, Facebook, and AppleID (login systems).
Gemini AI (food image processing).
We are not responsible for the actions, policies, or content of these third parties.
Termination of Use
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time if:
You violate these Terms.
Your account is suspected of unauthorized activity.
You may also terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

EULA (End User License Agreement)
· Introduction
This End-User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legally binding contract between you (“User”) and Kava Oy (“Provider”) governing your use of the COTI application (“Application”). By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the Application.
Note: The Application may collect personal data, including sensitive health information. Detailed information about the data we collect and how it is processed is provided in our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of this Agreement.
· License Grant
Kava Oy grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to download, install, and use the COTI Application solely for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with this Agreement.
· Restrictions on Use
You agree to use the Application only as intended and in compliance with all applicable laws. You are prohibited from:
• Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or otherwise attempting to discover the source code of the Application.
• Modifying, copying, distributing, or creating derivative works of the Application without prior written permission from Kava Oy.
• Using the Application for any unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious purposes.
· Intellectual Property Rights
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Application, including but not limited to software, logos, and trademarks, are owned by Kava Oy or its licensors. The license granted herein does not transfer any ownership rights to you.
· Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The COTI Application is provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Kava Oy does not warrant that the Application will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kava Oy shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use or inability to use the Application.
· Termination
Kava Oy reserves the right to terminate or suspend your license to use the Application at any time without prior notice if you breach any provision of this Agreement. Upon termination, you must immediately cease all use of the Application and remove all copies from your devices.
· Modifications to the Agreement
Kava Oy may update or modify this Agreement at any time. Significant changes will be communicated through the Application or other appropriate means. Your continued use of the Application after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
· Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland. Any disputes arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be resolved first through amicable negotiations, and if unresolved, in the competent courts of Finland.

· Subscription and Payment Terms
If the Application offers auto-renewable subscriptions or in-app purchases, the following terms apply:
• Subscription details such as duration, pricing, and renewal periods will be clearly displayed within the Application.
• Subscription fees will be charged according to the plan selected.
• Cancellations must be made in accordance with the guidelines provided within the Application.
• All purchases are subject to the terms of service and refund policies as outlined in the Application and on the App Store.
· Third-Party Services
The Application may integrate with third-party services (e.g., Firebase, RevenueCat, Gemini AI) to enhance its functionality. The use of these services is subject to the respective third-party terms and privacy policies. Kava Oy is not responsible for any issues or liabilities arising from such third-party services.
· Updates and Technical Support
Kava Oy may provide updates, enhancements, or bug fixes to the Application from time to time. While we strive to offer technical support to assist users, such support is provided on an “as available” basis, and Kava Oy does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free support services.
· Force Majeure
Kava Oy shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under this Agreement if such failure is due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of war, terrorism, government restrictions, or other events considered as force majeure.
· Privacy and Data Protection
The Application collects and processes personal data, including health information, as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Application, you consent to such processing in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Kava Oy is committed to safeguarding your personal data in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
· Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and any activities that occur under your account. You agree to immediately notify Kava Oy if you suspect unauthorized access to your account or any other breach of security.
· Consumer Rights and Jurisdictional Limitations
Certain provisions of this Agreement may not apply to you if your jurisdiction provides greater rights or protections under local consumer protection laws. In such cases, those local laws shall govern to the extent applicable.
· Acceptance
By using the COTI Application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this End-User License Agreement.
